Insurance

Currently I accept the following insurance:

• Cigna

• Aetna

• Anthem

• Optum
  

If I do not accept your insurance, or if you are paying privately for services, I will provide you with necessary paper work to submit to your insurance company.

Some questions you may want to ask your insurance company are:

• What are my out-of-network mental health benefits?

• Do I need to meet a deductible to receive reimbursement for out-of-network mental health coverage?

• Does my insurance company provide a mental health claim form?

Nu Counseling Services (NCS) does offer some sliding scale options for clients with a financial need on a time- limited basis. If you need a sliding fee, please discuss this during your initial phone consultation.

Payment

Cash, check and all major credit cards are accepted for payment.

Cancellation policy

When you set up an appointment, we reserve a time just for you. We ask that our clients reserve time for their session in their schedule and cancel sessions as soon as they know there is a conflict. You must notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you wish to cancel your therapy appointments. Otherwise, you will be charged a cancellation fee of the cost of the session, which insurance plans do not cover.
